Good reasons to refrain from financial spread betting for stock investing
I have a confession to make. I have an agenda when writing this draft. My agenda is to try and put you off needing to start financial spread betting. Yes you read that right, I'd like to put you off.
So why do I want to put you off? Well I do not truly but all I read are articles about how good money spread betting is. They will put in a line about why it is risky at the end but that's all they do. I have been guilty of this myself before I guess. If after studying this you still consider it to be a good idea then go for it.
OK so let’s commence with the bad points…the first is you are likely to be rubbish at it when you start. You are very unlikely to be worthwhile in your first year. Can you handle that? Will you be able to take losing and accept accountability for it and not blame the market? Other traders will earn cash when you lose so it isn't the market that's at fault.
So you made it thru the 1st year of fiscal spread betting with some capital in tact. Well done as only a few manage it. Guess what? Just because you made it through doesn't mean that you guaranteed to make a large amount of money. Only a few traders and the brokers make the serious money. If you are barely breaking even then you are doing ok.
To be one of those successful traders then you want to put the time in. This isn't an easy way to make a livingit is difficult work. You want to like doing money spread betting or you're going to fail. Just think irrespective of how many hours you put in, there is likely to be somebody out there who puts in more.
